The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Bennett College (CES) strives to provide academic opportunities which prepare and inspire principled, high-impact young entrepreneurs. The Center provides students with the tools and experiential learning experiences necessary to creatively pursue, identify and evaluate opportunities. Our students acquire a framework to conceptualize, finance, launch, manage, and harvest a wide variety of new ventures. In addition, the Center offers a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies which is a comprehensive specialized program focused on helping students create an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
At CES we define entrepreneurship as a mindset; supporting and encouraging students whether their interested are in social entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, or corporate innovation.

Entrepreneurial Studies seeks to prepare and inspire principled, high-impact young entrepreneurs whose innovations improve people’s lives and solve important problems of today and tomorrow. Students learn how to identify and evaluate opportunities. Young women can acquire a framework to conceptualize, finance, launch, manage, and harvest a wide variety of new ventures. These can include commercial businesses such as high-tech startups as well as not-for- profit enterprises that address urgent and persistent human needs. Students may also choose to apply their entrepreneurial knowledge to existing family businesses or elect to create new ventures or products within large corporations.
